General Discussion / Training

Training-

As you may know when you first start playing its hard to understand a game if you haven't played a rsps like it or even one before so lets talk about "Reflux" and how you can level up and become a pro like the players you see around you...

Step1. When you choose your name and password you will log in, occasionally there is a black screen meaning you cant see anything or play so to sort this out press "Settings"-"Graphics Settings" (Monitor Picture)-"Custom"-Your display mode is OpenGL Switch it to "System" then to "DirectX" and back to "OpenGL" keep doing this until your screen is not black and once it is not black switch back to "OpenGL" so no lag happens and you get  the best performance of the game.

Step2. Shops/stalls, shops are located in front of the Home bank (24/06/2015), These shops hold everything you must need for skilling and leveling up! In front of the shops are the thieving stalls, here you can earn easy money quickly and get xp as well! and there's a bank right next to it to bank your goods that you receive from the stalls, What thieving stall could be better??? Then sell the good you get to Peksa for cash$.

Step3. Combat, First of all you want to buy your gear to train your combat levels, Peksa sells you weapons and Horvik sells you armour (They are both located in front of the Home Bank), Once you have bought the armour and weapons that you want head over to your quest tab and press on "Teleports", From there you need press "More Options..." then "Combat Training" and press "Rock Crabs (Low-Mid)" Once you're at the Rock Crabs you can kill and level up fast and become a high level players like you dream of ;) If you get to a high enough level you can go back to "Combat Training" and press any other NPC's.

Step4. Combat Level 138, To get Combat level 138 as you may know it only requires 6 skills, These are Attack, Strength, Defense, Constitution, Prayer and Summoning, I have told you how to level up the basic Fighting skills now lets get you to Max Level, Ok lets start with Prayer, The best way to level up Prayer is buy exp Lamps you can buy these from other players or get them from the Squeal of Fortune or the chest. Another way is buying bones from players as this is really quick but not many people sell them because the bones they get they use them. The way that most people use is by killing Green Dragons located under "Combat Training" REMEMBER TO WIELD A ANTI DRAGON SHIELD. You can collect dragon bones which give the highest amount of prayer xp, fill up your inventory and Teleport Home. Go Behind the bank, You will see a Prayer altar, Right click on the bone and press use, then use it on the altar. Automatically the bones will disappear and give xp, this method is better than burying the bones as you get more xp. Summoning, Summoning is a harder skill to do as there is only one way to level it up. Do ::summoning or you can go onto your "Quest Tab"-"Teleports"-"Skilling"-"More Options..."-"Summoning", Once you get their trade "Pikkupstix" and buy around 1000 pouches, 500 of each charms and 100k of spirit shards (you will have to buy more as you go on) Here is Runescape guide for what you can make with the level Summoning you are and the best xp you get :) http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Summoning_pouches

Hope you guys benefit from this Guide,

Kind Regards,
Edward

Suggestions / Some suggestion ( list gets bigger )
« Last post by Unsullied on June 24, 2015, 12:10:39 pm »
1. Create a special area with all the minigame characters so it is much easier to acces it and also name them by the sort of minigame.
2. Give all skills the same amount of xp instead off superfast melee and super slow magic, prayer and stuff.
3. Give the dungeoneering npc's different points and xp when there level is higher because all the monsters give the same amount of xp and one of the monsters gives no xp or points at all.
4. Fix slayer tower: 1. There are to many crawling hands.
                               2. All the monsters got the same health.
5. Add a upgrade system to the thzaar whip: I get the thzaar whip 1 from a minigame or something and i need to pay something like 5 100m tickets to upgrade it to level 2 at a special character that does that kind of stuff and if you want it from thzaar whip 2 to thzaar whip 3 it will cost you 10 100m tickets.
6. Change it so you dont need lvl 99 slayer or 80 for glacors or jadinko's
7. make it so that you dont need 80 slayer for vine whip.
8. delete it that you need fight caves to do the undead minigame from the Guardian mummy
9. Add greater demons to the training place.

( This is it for now) ( If something not going to happen or you got suggestions just say it. )

Staff applications / Rank descriptions
« Last post by Voy Age on June 24, 2015, 04:00:05 am »
Administrator
These members have achieved the highest position in the staff team. Their job is not limited to a title (such as that of "Head of Staff"), they take forth all responsibility for the staff team, forums, and community. They're the Owner's right-hand man/gal. Administrators appropriately give ranks, update forums, conclude final staff decisions (including promotions and demotions), conclude support trials, and so on.

Technical Support
Members of this rank range from Developers/Coders to Forum Programmers, and so on. They're knowledgeable in a vast amount of programming. They assist with updates, client/server issues, forum updates, forum issues, and more. This rank is obtained only by speaking with Boris and providing proof of your talents, and dedicating your work for ASL.

Head Moderator - Head Moderator is like an Administrator's assistant. The Head Moderator overlooks all other staff reporting it to the Administrator(s). This user also looks over all pending applicants on the game & forums making sure they're fit for the job, and that they do not act out. Other than that, this rank is no different than that of a Global Moderator.

Global Moderator
Members of this rank moderate both the forums & server. They're experienced enough in each area to moderate both at once. They possess no greater benefits/power. Global Moderators, given the experience they have, teach up Forum and In-game Moderators to become a Global Moderator.

In-game Moderator
These members of staff moderate the server. They make sure things in-game run smoothly with no problems. They take care of all malicious acts & rule-breakers. They're known for acting swiftly & professionally. They help out all Supports and Trial Supports through their learning experiences, into one day being a moderator.

Forum Moderator
These members simply moderate the forums. They make sure all rule-breakers are dealt with, there are no spelling/grammatical errors, and that the most important of information is in easy access. This rank gives no benefits or rank in-game, this is purely forum-based. These members may, however, obtain Global Moderator through hard work perseverance in-game.

Support
These are typically our newest additions to the staff team, and the lowest ranked position on the staff team. However, they are treated like any other rank; as staff. They have restricted commands, but enough to get the job done. These members of staff that possess this rank have no forum powers, they're purely server-based.

Trusted
This rank is the highest rank achievable by members who are not part of the staff team. Members of this group are highly respected, helpful, and, well, trusted. They're given a special in-game rank, as well as a rank on the forums. They're given no special commands in-game whatsoever.

Legend
This rank is given to members who meet the one-year registration requirement. Members of this rank don't have any special commands or recognition in-game, this is a forum-based rank only.

Veteran
This rank is given to members who meet the six-month registration requirement. Members of this rank don't have any special commands or recognition in-game, this is a forum-based rank only.
